In this series of two photos, the aim was to shoot two packshots. With the help of my sidekick Emma Soupart, we wanted to create a woodsy, serene atmosphere reminiscent of the old bars where people used to play gambling.
To achieve this, we started with an old bottle of rum as the main subject, followed by an old card game.
We opted for direct and indirect lighting to bring out the contours and keep all the relief. Then, using sagex, we created light reflections to break up the image's flat aesthetic.
