About Me

Portrait femme

“Layers” is a project focused on river geodata in the canton of Vaud. This project is carried out by two graphic designers, Lisa Vaucher and Visar Hyseni, as well as by an IMD, myself.

We are interested in the principle of layers in the field of geodata, since it is a recurring and closely related term, but which also refers to the way in which information is sorted, organized and processed when we access geodata from suitable software (layers, etc.).

The project focuses on the appearance of water, its reflections, its transparency as well as the surprises it generates.

Visuals use artificial intelligence because it is a way to add an additional layer of information and data: since artificial intelligence draws from databases to create fictional images, it is a way for us to create a new layer of geodata, in addition to using the raw data.

The visuals are raw, with pure and vivid colors, to counter the softness of the fabric. We also created a cadence linked to data on water, in particular on its flow, by representing the speed of streams and rivers.

We let you dive in, without getting wet!
