I designed this series of portraits in collaboration with two friends, Alicia Brouyer and Emma Soupart.
Our goal was to reveal the splendor of women while capturing their stories and memories through their eyes. The clichés open up to interpretation, revealing different stories according to the audience’s experience. These portraits represent confident women, subtly concealing their stories behind a gaze, inviting emotional and personal exploration.
The work, although photographic was deeper because there was a notion of front and rear camera, each took the shot of another while trying to capture the emotions and the appropriate posture, each posed in front of the camera and each checked the technical details. So our work was both front and rear of the camera. To realize this series, we experimented several styles, in order to show the woman from all her angles.
It’s up to you to see in each of them?
